Hell in a Cell Predictions (Oct.25)

There’s always PPVs that have a weak build, but by the time they come around I get excited. While HIAC could have been put together slightly better, I’m sure it’ll be a fun Sunday.

Charlotte vs Nikki Bella

This has easily been one of the worst builds to a rematch I’ve seen in a while. As of right now, I’m more interested in the Paige drama than I am in this match. Since Charlotte won the title last month, I don’t expect her to lose it right away. I predict she’ll win clean with the figure 8. With that being said, I do think it would be interesting to see Nikki come out with the surprise win.

The New Day vs The Dudley Boyz

The New Day has been absolute gold in almost every department of pro wrestling. The Dudleyz have been great for enhancing their look, but they’ve wrestled so much within the past few months and I’m not too amped for this match. I feel once the Dudleyz are done with this feud, they may get lost in the shuffle, so I predict they’ll win clean.

Ryback vs Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has done wonders for making the IC title look “cool”. As much as I like Ryback, he’s nowhere close to Owens’ level. I predict Owens to cheat and get the pin.

John Cena Open Challenge

This match will easily be the most unpredictable. There’s just so many possibilities in terms of who can accept. My guess is as good as anyones. At one point I was expecting Dolph, but now it doesn’t look likely. My main prediction will be the New Day winning after losing the tag titles. My wild card prediction is Daniel Bryan.

Seth Rollins vs Kane

Contrary to popular opinion, I’ve truly enjoyed this comedic feud. I think it shows the audience of how versatile Rollins and Kane are. I’m sure a lot of fans are writing this match off, but I think it will leave us impressed in terms of work rate. Considering how the feud has been going, I predict Rollins to pick up the cheap win.

Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt

I’m actually anticipating this match more than any other on the card. The two will most likely steal the show just because they have killer chemistry. There’s no doubt in my mind that the family and Ambrose will make an appearance .After an amazing battle, Roman will prevail as the winner, and don’t be surprised if he climbs to the top of the cage to celebrate.

Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker

The build hasn’t been great, but they will find a way to deliver. I’m not overly excited for this contest, but I’m sure that will change a second before they start. Their history is deep and Lesnar has always come out on top, don’t expect that to change in this match. After the two almost murder each other, Brock will come out on top. I’m also predicting there will be a ton of blood.

  1. Almost on the same page. Dudleys have been a disappointment on the ring. Besides the buzz and nostalgia not much to show on the ring. The fans have been cheering out of nostalgia. That’s the only reason why I doubt they’ll win.

Kofi vs. Cena would be a great match. It could happen if Xavier and Woods are in the tag match, especially after they already had a chance in the challenge. Kofi would make a nice U.S. champion.

I have enjoyed Kane/Rollins angle but my hope for an interesting match are as high as they were with Sting, rock bottom.

I agree there was a huge lack of build up for the matches. Invisible Charlotte. Some might say is due to Sasha and Paige, but I doubt it would have been any different without their buzz, I blame Charlotte.

I’ll be watching tday, but not with high hopes for this PPV. Should be average at best.
